Alright in todays email I have a few things to share and then offer you to move forward and take your career to the next level. 

Our careers are just a series of projects and campaigns right?

We work in projects…. So projects are the vehicles with which we do the things we do, make the stuff, advance our career, share our content, pay the bills, etc…

So one of the breakthroughs clients make with me is when they start to see and realize that what they are really doing, one of the primary roles and responsibilities they have is, as a Project Manager.

It’s not just the production… Make the music, produce the album… each body of work should be an integrated project that includes the pre-production, the production, the publishing, the promotion, and the performance measurement phases that complete the Project Lifecycle.

When we understand this distinction we start to see the recording studio and/or digital workstation as a complete project studio, what we call the Modern Project Studio.

When we have structure we can build the foundation for a development system. It’s important to have these and other models in your head. They’re called models as they are mental maps that illustrate some critical component or core understanding that function as the enablers for far more accurate or advanced beliefs from which to think about some thing important.

Over the years I’ve developed a lot of mental models to give you a complete system for achieving your goals and creating your slice of paradise through optimal career growth.

I learn, I coach, I implement what I learn and I share the best with you. That’s what I do. Now I’d like to hear from you. Have you been successful?

Also, I’ve been thinking about doing a show! The Modern Musician Podcast. It sounds so exciting and fresh but I’ve been thinking about this for years it’s just been on the backburner! But this would be a show where we are studying and breaking down the journey to success as a musical artist and then sharing the strategies, tactics, techniques and secrets with you for free~!
