Top Music Libraries for Film and TV Submission and Placement

Here's a combined listing with a little bit of info on each for the Top-tier, mid-tier, and low-tier Music Libraries for Film and TV Submission and Placement.

I will be adding to this list, and please comment below if you have anything to add.

Most are easy to submit too, just see what they ask for, for many just email them a link to webpage where they can listen:

Top-tier

my fav! very selective. i'm 3 for 30 with them.

you have to set up an account and submit mp3s through their system .. not too hard

free, submit on-line, takes about 1 week to hear back, TRY THEM FIRST

This library looks darn good and will take submissions via a link ..

they seem to like submission from 'artists' not just individual songs ..

if true, tell them you have instrumental versions of all songs .. they like that

Looks good .. go to contacts .. audition music (click on cassette)

a division of 615 Music .. bought by Warner-Chappel!!

I recently submitted .. submission system is similar to Crucial .. on-line

Mango Ree l-  HYPERLINK "http://www.mangoreel.com/submit.html" http://www.mangoreel.com/submit.html

I recently submitted .. have to pay a 5.60 usd

a really good one .. ask for permission to submit a CD

only instrumentals. seems great. easy to submit to .. electronic. I know a guy making about $1000 usd per quarter off placements from this lib.

email Danny, ask for permission to send a CD

seems great .. takes links in emails as submissions

Measurement Arts Music/CBS Music Licensing Program – seems good, but it’s new .. I’ve been talking with the guy

Middle-tier

Music Dealers –  HYPERLINK "http://www.musicdealers.com" www.musicdealers.com

they take anything that is broadcast quality. I have many songs signed here, because they get good placements, their business deal is good, they are super easy to deal with .. all electronic .. no risk, no term, remove your song at any time if you get a better deal elsewhere!! I use it to put songs, while I’m pitching them elsewhere. They may be top-tier in a year or so, they are improving rapidly. Look at their Deal Board.

I have several songs here, they take anything that is broadcast quality, very similar to Music Dealers, business deal is even better, but I like MD best .. seem to get more/better placements.

seems good .. seems to be more for ‘artists’, exclusive

indigi music –they’ve rejected a few of mine .. I’m on the fence about submitting again .. exclusive

HYPERLINK "http://www.audiosocketmusic.com/" http://www.audiosocketmusic.com/

costs $15, but it's easy, submit on-line, you'll hear back in a few days, Casey has a placement from them, they rejected 3 of my songs, I’ve never gone back .. of course always be wary of scams when people want to charge you money to listen to your songs  .. I think this one is legit .. but judge for yourself

Audiosparx  - is best for instrumentals .. not great for vocal songs, imo .. but I have a few vocal songs signed here

Lower-tier

Jingle Punks  - they take anything that is broadcast quality, business deal is average, easy to deal with, all electronic, I have a few here .. one placement … I know a few others who have placements with them, small stuff

Manifest Media  - they take anything that is broadcast quality, I never submitted here, use as a last resort
