Three Keys to Building Your Online Presence
The problem with building your online presence certainly isn’t the lack of opportunity...
The real problem is that there are virtually ENDLESS avenues to explore and invest your time in...
This makes it tricky, and i mean a REAL challenge to determine which you really SHOULD go down.
This makes the planning process intense, and often enjoyable… Its like a big puzzle you are putting together in your head. The only problem is… The pieces keep shifting in size and shape. Its fun to line everything up and put everything together. It almost works too. I mean it works at first. But the missing piece is always action. This is because their is only so much that thought and planning can accomplish.
The rubber always meets the road in the execution, which shows you the results, which can be measured, which can be improved upon.
Im not going to drag this post out, so i'll get down to heart of the solution.
Here are Three Keys to Building your Online Presence.
1. Commit to Not Giving In To Overwhelm
First and foremost, FIGHT overwhelm, literally you must FIGHT it. It is an active challenge. So understand that it will happen, and dismiss it. You must think of it as a skill you are developing. YES, there are TONS OF THINGS to do. Yes, there ARE TONS of distractions. Do not give up, and do not say you "cannot do it," and commit to not giving up. Good you have stepped up another notch in the pyramid and stand among a decreased amount of peers.
2. Execution Trumps "Perfect" Planning
Execution almost always trumps perfect planning, so develop a sense of urgency in what you are doing, and see yourself as someone who is mastering this skill like it is going out of style.
Fast implementation is the difference between looking back on your day's results.
If you have nothing completed, you cannot measure results, and therefore, cannot improve on them.
just do it.
3. Develop Good Habits, and Solidify them through Consistency
Its about habits. You need to establish good habits, and build consistency into your routines.
and… when in doubt, create something. Write an article, write a blog, write an email. EVERYONE is trying to sell you something, they are competing for your time, your money, cut through the clutter and minutia the best you can, and when in doubt, create don't consume.
