Modern Musicians DO THIS...

Hey ,Modern Artists/Musicians develop the Entrepreneurial Skill-set in addition to their craft and self. They are both strategic and tactical. This is whole brained thinking - right AND left. Analytic and holistic. The biggest problem I continue to observe with my clients and students is that many of them as content creators aren’t fully embracing the additional roles and responsibilities that would allow them to embrace the additional opportunities available in the MODERN world. 

Modern Musicians recognize they are responsible for professional, accountable spending, strategic growth and applied leverage. They’ve gotten over the common fears and Starving Artist Syndrome symptoms as well as any marketing and sales shame. You should begin to understand your numbers, and realize that you can’t grow or improve what you don’t track or measure. 

If you knew that every time you did an advertising campaign on Facebook that cost $200, you got 50 new subscribers and 15 new customers which directly generated $400 in profit, how often would you run that campaign? Probably until the profit generated was lower than the cost of the campaign or until you found a campaign that worked better. This is the kind of thinking that the entrepreneurial side of your brain will be calculating for you. Remember, some of this may be new and uncomfortable, and not the way you’re used to thinking. What’s most important is that nothing will or is meant to “replace” your creativity or the Artistic sides of you... Only supplement and enhance. You don’t have to transform into Richard Branson overnight.

 Entrepreneurs realize that the are responsible for their own success. They recognize and embrace that if they want something, they must create enough value in exchange for the things or situations they want. YOU MUST Define what "Making It" means for you.
