I moved this class from the second phase because by this time you should have your Lead Magnet finished and I figured it would be more convenient for you
to learn the email marketing stuff when you were ready to go and implement these trade secrets.
Your email list IS your Tribe..
There are many people who are also apart of your Tribe who are NOT on your email list, but you need to MAKE SURE that they DO get on your list.
Not everyone ON your list is fully a part of your Tribe, but it’s YOUR job to create the CULTURE and the CONNECTION that changes that.
It is your NUMBER ONE goal to build an engaged, loyal audience that LOVES YOU!
Your email list is your most precious asset, period...
You must NURTURE and interact and genuinely put yourself out there, as well as provide the most amount of value that you can to your subscribers.
Just real quick, if you are sending commercial emails, or you have a business, you need what’s technically called an Email Service Provider...
Also referred to as an Autoresponder, Email Marketing Service, or Autoresponder service...
Technically “Autoresponder” is inaccurate, as the Autoresponder is one feature of your E.S.P
But anyway... You need one!
The reason why we all use an ESP is because of A. Deliverablity, and B. Tracking and Statistics.
There are other nice things to have, but those are the two core reasons.
Any ESP you go with should offer at least a 99% deliverability rate, and a “whitelisting” agreements feature in place.

But Isn’t Email Less Effective Today With all the Spam?
My email inbox is FULL almost all of the time!!
Sometimes it’s overwhelming, and such a pain to sift through because it’s perpetually littered with JUNKY useless offers and coupons i’ll never use...
But, there are a couple sender’s who give me a warm and tingly sensation of pleasure when I come across there name in my inbox. They stick out like a sore thumb and I actually ENJOY opening up for them.
Why...?
Because i know that they are going to deliver VALUE.
Because they’re looking out for me, and I not only respect them, but i trust and appreciate what they send me.
Which one of those two people are you?
Are you just sending out a quick monthly e-Blast that generally produces very little response and even less results for your brand?
Is it a CHORE you HAVE to do, and mostly feel like it’s something that you know you should be doing, and that really is the MAIN reason, that you are even bothering with it at all?
So, how could you change that?
The common denominators that i’ve noticed between those FEW who stand-out and whose emails happily get opened, and the rest of the crowd, is...
Relevance - They send me information about things i am interested in, and passionate about. The relationship usually starts off on the right foot, because the reason i opted-in to begin with was because they promised me something, and the reason i stayed was because, they delivered that.
Value - I am almost always pleased with the training, the story, and/or the recommendations they provide.
Personality - Has their own voice, or established persona, i don’t necessarily need to KNOW the person, i just know who or what they represent to me, and is interesting, inspiring, and/or engaging.
Consistency - I hear from them on a consistent basis, whether that’s in regards to industry specific news, their latest project, or new training and content, they keep me up to date.
So let me ask you again, where do YOU fall in relation to those two opposing classifications?

Most commonly people will send their list to an offer page, or a new blog post, or survey, to encourage engagement and participation.
There are really only two ways to drive traffic from email lists... Either directly from your own lists, or from Other Peoples Lists. (OPL)
This is all well and good, but here’s the catch... You need to have a LARGE and RESPONSIVE list.
The problem is that... Well, that is tough to do, and most people do not even know where to BEGIN to build the darn thing.
Since i know that this is a big question my clients have, i know you may have some questions about actually doing that as well.

Adswaps - i recommend you find several people to form a sort of ”market partnership” with, who are both committed to making the knowledge and opportunity of your message available online and for the greater good.
Rather than look at it like strictly numbers, “i can send you x amount of clicks, if you can reciprocate, etc...
Go and FORM a friendship and meaningful business relationship with someone who you could align to better serve your market together. The goal is always to continue to serve and empower your community, so this is usually where you START.

How To BUILD Rapport With Your Audience and Add HIGHER Value To Your Blog
Whats the problem?
Most of your old blog posts wont get read, if you don’t promote them.
-setup an autoresponder for each and every blog post you have EVER published.
-Write a great headline, and short couple paragraphs explaining the reader of the value they will get by reading the blog post, make sure you test headlines to increase response and conversion over time.
-organize them into a logical and valuable sequence for educating effectively
arrange them in a meaningful way, say by category and then set them up to deliver all posts on X topic, over a few months, and then on to the next one.
-Benefits for you and for your readers?
Everyone who ever signs up gets to see every great post you have ever written (cut out any you are not proud of, or didn’t get a good response.)
A one-off visitor can easily become someone who regularly visits your blog throughout the year and builds that know, like, and trust factor.
by increasing more regular visitors, you are also increasing the amount of social sharing, links, comments, community, and your bottom line.
You goal should be to get people to sign up.
You of course need to incentivize this with a valuable incentive.
